CBI probe sought in murder case
Hyderabad, Oct 11 (UNI) The widow of a realtor murdered allegedly by former APCC President K Keshava Rao's son K Venkat here last month, called on Andhra Pradesh Governor N D Tiwari today and sought his intervention for an CBI inquiry.
Ms Vilasini submitted a memorandum to the Governor complaining that the police officer entrusted with the investigation was ''not acting impartially'' and appealed to him to ensure handing over of the case to the CBI.
It may be recalled that Mr Keshava Rao, a member of the Rajya Sabha, had resigned as the state unit Congress President after the city police registered a case of murder against Venkat in connection with the death of the realtor under suspicious circumstances.
