Arjun Agarwal gears up with "Sweet Tooth" at LFW 07-08

Mumbai, Oct 11 (UNI) Arjun Agarwal, an upcoming designer and a graduate from Australia, is showcasing his collection ''Sweet Tooth' in the Gen Next category at the forthcoming 'Lakme Fashion Week 2007-08', to be held at the NCPA here from October 13.

Taking inspiration from Decorative Cakes, his spring summer collection 2008 is highly layered and colourful and the sweetness is depicted through the lovely textures and beautiful colour combinations The collection comprises dresses, shorts, tops and skirts with contemporary embroidery, a lot of print, and lace trims.

Speaking to reporters here, Arjun said the collection is targetted at a growing globally fashion conscious Indian market.

Arjun graduated from The Canberra Institute of Technology (2005) (C.I.T), Australia. He then underwent specialised training at UCOL (Universal College of Learning), Wanganui, New Zealand.

He then participated in the Canberra Fashion Week 2006, where his creations were judged the best and a famous Australian fashion magazine- LIP praised the ingenuity in measured lengths.
