AIR to broadcast new programmes during Navaratri

Chennai, Oct 11 (UNI) The local stations of the All India Radio will broadcast a series of programmes on the Navaratri festival from tomorrow.

AIR, in a release here today, said 'Sakthi Ula,' featuring different Sakthi temples in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, will be aired daily from tomorrow till October 21 at 0845 hrs on 'Chennai A.' 'Deviar Darisanam,' a discourse in Tamil presented by eminent scholars including Dr Saradha Nambi Arooran, Dr R Selvaganapathy and Dr Sudha Seshayyan will be broadcast from tomorrow till October 20 at 0700 hrs on 'FM Gold.' Special one hour music concerts by renowned artistes like Aruna Sairam, Nithyasree Mahadeven, T M Krishna, Mandolin Srinivas and Ganesh Kumar will be broadcast from tomorrow to October 20 on 'Chennai A' at 0900 hrs and also on 'FM Gold' at 1700 hrs, the release added.
