12 injured in blast in Ajmer sharif

Ajmer, Oct 11 (UNI) About a dozen people were injured in a blast in Sufi Saint Khwaja Moinuddin Hasan Chisti's durgah here this evening.

The blast occurred at around 1815 hrs near the holy tomb on the durgah premises shortly after the custom of 'iftar'. There was a huge gathering of devotees in the durgah owing to Ramzan at the time of the incident.

The injured were rushed to the Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College Hospital, the police said.
