Whirlpool India plans breakeven by March' 08

New Delhi, Oct 10: Whirlpool India Ltd today said it plans for a breakeven by the end of this fiscal and aims for 20-25 per cent increase in topline in the second quarter.

''Our operating profit are better in comparision to last year and we are planning for a breakeven by March 2008,'' company's Vice President (Marketing) Shantanu Das Gupta told reporters here.

Expansion in the airconditioners segment has worked in company's overall performance, he added.
