Suneil Shetty, Ekta Kapoor tie-up to produce 'Mission Istanbul'

Mumbai, Oct 10 (UNI) Television soap queen Ekta Kapoor and actor Suneil Shetty have joined hands to co-produce Apoorva Lakhia's new directorial venture ''Mission Istanbul.'' The film, an espionage thriller, will go on floors from October 25 in Turkey.

''Mission Istanbul'' stars Abhishek Bachchan, Zayed Khan, Viveik Oberoi, Suneil Shetty, Shabbir Ahluwalia and newcomers Shreya Sarin and Nikita Dhir.

The first song recording for the film took place early this week in Mumbai for which famous singer from Turkey, Ege, was flown in to partner music director Anu Malik in composing the music.

Lakhia, whose last movie ''Shoot Out At Lokhandwala'' was based on a real life incident of a police encounter in suburban Mumbai that took place in 1991, said Turkey was a land of unparalleled beauty, exotic locales and sensual music.
