Rains likely in Northeast, West Bengal, Kerala

Pune, Oct 10 (UNI) The Southwest Monsoon has been subdued in Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha, Chattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Kerala, and at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, coastal Karnataka, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and Lakshadweep.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, Jammu and Kashmir, Konkan, Goa, coastal Andhra Pradesh, and interior Karnataka.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over the Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana and Rayalseema.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in Assam and Meghalaya, and at many places in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at a few places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, and at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Mainly dry weather prevailed over Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Lakshadweep.

Day temperatures were above normal in west Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and in some parts of Jammu and Kashmir. They were below normal in some parts of west Rajasthan.

Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in Haryana, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir and in some parts of Uttar Pradesh. They were below normal in north Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh and in some parts of east Madhya Pradesh. Night temperatures were above normal in Gujarat.
