Patan district collector wins 'ISO-9001'

Gandhinagar, Oct 10 (UNI) Patan District Collector Vinod Rao has been accorded 'ISO-9001' certificate for his successful implementation of 'Quality Management System' and 'Pro-active Governance' in public administration of the district.

The ISO-9001 certification was given to Mr Rao today at a public function. It was attended by Bureau Verities Head K M Marimuththu, L S Sharma, Managing Director of Electronics and Quality Development Centre, Government of India and Gujarat Education Minister Anandiben Patel among others, an official release said here.

Congratulating Mr Rao, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi appealed to other districts' administrations to adopt the same pattern for providing better quality services to the common citizens, the release added.
