Mikes can be used till midnight during Navratri in Gujarat

Ahmedabad, Oct 10 (UNI) The State Government taking into consideration the festive spirit of Navratri has extended the use of loudspeakers from 2200 hrs to midnight.

Government Spokespersons I K Jadeja and Saurabh Patel in a release issued here today said that Navratri is the longest duration dance festival in the world which not only embodies the spirit of 'shakti' but also a spiritual force that brims in the heart of every Gujarati. Therefore, Chief Minister Narendra Modi has decided that the timings for usage of microphone will be extended from 2200 hrs to 0000 hrs for all the nine days from October 12 to 21, the duo added.
