Krishan elected as ICAI Chandigarh chairman

Chandigarh, Oct 10 (UNI) Alok Krishan was today elected as the Chairman of the Chandigarh Branch of Northern India Regional Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Mr Krishan was unanimously elected at the meeting of the executive council held here at ICAI Bhawan this morning, while Om Pawan Kumar was elected as the vice chairman cum secretary and Pushpinder Duggal was elected as treasurer.

Speaking after the election, Alok Krishan said that it shall be his endeavor to increase interaction of the members with various authorities in Income Tax, Service Tax and Excise and Taxation departments by holding interactive sessions on various topics. UNI
