Mumbai, Oct 10 (UNI) The Film Federation of India (FFI) today conceded in the Bombay High Court that one of its committee members had decided the official Oscar nomination from India, had edited a capsule promoting the Amitabh Bachchan starrer 'Eklavya-The Royal Guard'.

A division bench comprising Chief Justice Swatanter Kumar and Justice D Y Chandrachud has asked the FFI to inform the court within a week's time as to how best it could resolve the row over the official Oscar nomination for this year and how it would set its house in order to prevent recurrence of such incidents in future.

Bhavana Talwar, director of film 'Dharm' has moved the high court after the FFI chose 'Eklavya' for official nomination to the Academy Awards, saying that her film was rejected by the FFI jury despite receiving worldwide critical acclaim.

Talwar has alleged that the entire selection process was biased and vitiated due to strong affiliation of certain members on the jury with Vidhu Vinod Chopra, producer of Eklavya.
