CPI(ML) demands judicial probe into killing of Ashok Sah

Patna, Oct 10 (UNI) The CPI(ML) today urged Bihar governor R S Gavai to ensure a judicial inquiry into the killing of party leader Ashok Sah at Runnishaidpur in Sitamarhi district on October 4.

A delegation of the party consisting members of politbureau Nand Kishore Prasad and Ramjatan Sharma besides member of state committe Santosh Sahar, called on the Governor and submitted a memorandum demanding the judicial probe into killing of Mr Sah.

The memorandum alleged that the deceased had urged Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to provide security cover to him apprehending threat on his life. Despite his repeated request to Mr Kumar, no security cover was provided to him resulting into his murder, they claimed.

Mr Sah was allegedly killed by policemen at Runnishaidpur police station after his arrest on charges of rape.
