VPT unloads record amount of Manganese ore in a day

Visakhapatnam, Oct 9 (UNI) The Visakhapatnam Port Trust (VPT) has set an all time record of unloading maximum amount of Manganese ore in a single day.

According to a VPT release today, the port unloaded 13,739 tonne of Managanese ore from the vessel M V Normannia surpassing the previous 13,538 tonne unloaded from the vessel M V Yongan-2.

The ore was imported by Nagpur-based Sarada Energy and Minerals Limited, the release added.
