Punjab re-allocates jurisdiction of urban authorities
Chandigarh, Oct 9 (UNI) The Punjab Government today notified the jurisdiction of various urban authorities and also notified the jurisdiction of Chief Administrators of these urban authorities.
According to an official spokesman Chief Administrator, Greater Mohali Development Authority (GMADA) would have jurisdiction on area falling within the jurisdiction of GMADA. Chief Administrator, Greater Ludhiana Development Authority (GLADA) would have jurisdiction on area falling within the jurisdiction of GLADA while Chief Administrator Bathinda Development Authority (BDA) would have jurisdiction on area falling within the jurisdiction of BDA.
Chief Administrator Patiala Development Authority (PDA) would have jurisdiction on area falling within the jurisdiction of PDA.
Chief Administrator Jalandhar Development Authority (JDA) would have jurisdiction on area falling within the jurisdiction of JDA while, Chief Administrator Amritsar Development Authority ( ADA) would have jurisdiction on area falling within the jurisdiction of ADA.
The spokesman said that Chief Administrator Punjab Urban Planning and Development Authority (PUDA) would have jurisdiction on area of Punjab excluding the area of above mentioned Urban Authorities.
