Betul, MP, Oct 9 (UNI) Taking a dig at those opposing the Indo-US nuclear deal, Union Commerce and Industries Minister Kamal Nath today said the deal aimed at enhancing power generation.

Addressing a public meeting here, said the deal would help in generating 25,000 MW power. Even by using coal available in the whole country, so much power could not be generated, he noted.

''Whether the deal is opposed by 'Vampanth (Left)' or 'Ram Panth', final victory would be of 'Aam Panth (common man)','' he said.

He alleged that those opposing the deal were providing misleading information to people.

Congress party's Madhya Pradesh Incharge General Secretary V Narayan Sami alleged that the BJP-ruled Madhya Pradesh Government was not carrying out development in the state.
