Mob fury: Three thiefs lynched by villagers in Palamu

Daltonganj, Oct 9 (UNI) In yet another instance of mob justice, three people were lynched by residents of Koiridih village in Jharkhand late last night after they were caught stealing valuables from a house.

Police today said four people attempting to steal valuables from one Naniak Mahto in this village under Haidarnagar police station in Palamu district were beaten up by the villagers.

While three of them succumbed to their injuries, one was admitted to Daltonganj Sadar hospital, police added.

The deceased, identified as Kariman Mushar, Saroj Mushar and Dudheshwar Mushar, belonged to Katiya village under the Hariharganj police station area of the district.
