HSCI launches 10th Anniversary Edition 'Honda City ZX' in Gujarat

Ahmedabad, Oct 9 (UNI) Leading manufacturer of premium cars Honda Siel Cars India (HSCI) today launched the 10th Anniversary Edition of the Honda City ZX, with several new features.

The City ZX V-TEC has a host of safety and luxury features such as a G-Con body, ABS, SRS Airbags and plush leather interiors, HSCI Zonal Head Munaf Meghani told a press conference here today.

''As a corporate, our future strategy is to focus on three basic principles -- Safety, Environment and Energy Conservation,'' Mr Meghani said.

The Honda City ZX, the largest selling sedan in India, is today recognized as one of the most successful car brands in India, Mr Meghani said adding that HSCI has made several value-additions to the City ZX, which is an excellent combination of distinctive styling, interior comfort, fuel-efficiency and great performance.

Landmark Honda Director Sanjay Thakkar, speaking on the occasion, said all current Honda cars in India -- City, Civic, Accord and CR-V -- are successful in their respective segments. All Honda cars are E-10 (10 per cent ethanol blended with gasoline) ready, which the Government of India is considering to implement in near future, he said.

Describing the new features in each variant of the 10th Anniversary Edition of the City ZX, Mr Thakkar said, ''All EXi onwards models have MP3 CD AM/FM stereo with four speakers, new key design, new design steering, accessory socket, central door lock switch, and thicker chrome rings.'' The GXi onward models have front fog lamps, side step garnish, two keyless entry remote transmitters, new design combi meter and new 1-Din MP3 CD AM/FM Stereo with four speakers. The VTEC onwards have superior two-din MP3 CD AM/FM stereo with four speakers, premium dark woody panel, trunk spoiler as standard dealer fitment, leather upholstery, ABS (Anti-lock Braking System), and dual SRS airbags for driver and front passenger.
