Decision soon on handing over IAF land for cargo hub project

Nagpur, Oct 9 (UNI) A decision would be taken soon on handing over land, in possession of Indian Air Force (IAF) here to the Maharashtra Airports Development Company (MADC) for the Multi-Modal International Air Passenger and Cargo Hub at Nagpur (MIHAN) project here.

It was decided at a high-level meeting in New Delhi, presided over by Minister of State for Defence M M Palam Raju, that a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in this regard would be signed within a fortnight, an official release said.

Among those who attended the meeting were Union Minister of State for Non-Conventional Energy Sources Vilas Muttemwar, who is also the Lok Sabha member from Nagpur, and MADC Vice Chairman-cum-Managing Director R C Sinha, the release added.
