Tremors experienced in Bhuj, Kutch, Jamnagar and Rajkot

Bhuj, Oct 8 (UNI) An earthquake, with intensity of 4.8 on the Richter scale, with epicentre in the Rann of Kutch, shook parts of Saurashtra today and panic-striken people rushed out of the homes.

The tremors were experienced at 0642 hours in Kutch, Jamanagar and Rajkot among other places, official sources said.

There was no loss of life or damage to property, the sources added.
