Suzlon bags 400 MW wind turbine order

New Delhi, Oct 8 (UNI) Suzlon Energy Ltd today said its US subsidiary Suzlon Wind Energy Corp has received a 400 MW order from Houston-based Horizon Wind Energy.

The contract for Horizon Wind, a unit of Portuguese utility Energias de Portugal, requires delivery of 200 MW of capacity in 2008 and another 200 MW in 2009, company said in a statement.

However, the company did not disclose the financial details.
