Sundram Fasteners eyes $ 20 mln exports from new unit

New Delhi, Oct 8 (UNI) Auto parts maker Sundram Fasteners Ltd today said it expects its new unit to generate 20 million dollar in exports at full capacity.

It has spent Rs 32 crore to set up a unit in an industrial complex with common facilities and tax breaks near Chennai, it said in a statement.

The new unit would initially make hubs and shafts for US-bassed General Motors Corp, it said.

UNI
