1 killed, 15 injured in accident

Madurai, Oct 8 (UNI) A pedestrian was killed and 15 others injured when the driver of a van lost control and hit a tree at Oormechikulam village near here today.

Police said K Irulan (34) died on the spot when the van ran over him.

The injured, travelling in the van, were admitted to Government Rajaji Hospital here.
