Mukhya Mantri Mazdoor Kalyan Yojana in MP

Khargone, MP, Oct 7 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today announced that the Mukhya Mantri Mazdoor Kalyan Yojana would be launched on November 1.

''Labourers' children will receive scholarships from the first standard itself and medical treatment made available to labourers,'' he said while addressing a mammoth Pal community convention at this district's Kasrawad.

Women would get 45 days' maternity leave and expenses on impoverished labourers' last rites would be borne by the government.

Bharatiya Janata Party state President Narendra Singh Tomar and former MP Krishnamurari Moghe also addressed the gathering.
