Ujjain, MP, Oct 7 (UNI) The removal of Kalidas Parishad from organisers of the Akhil Bharatiya Kalidas Samaroh during golden jubilee celebrations this year has stirred up a hornet's nest.

Kalidas Parishad General Secretary Shiv Sharma has alleged that the ''biased'' decision was taken under political pressure and the organisation was not informed about it.

The Parishad has sent a notice to the Madhya Pradesh Government and Culture Minister Lakshmikant Sharma regarding not removing it as organisers of the event.

Besides, a notice has been sent to the Principal Secretary and the District Collector seeking reply within 14 days or else the Parishad would move the High Court before the Samaroh starts on November 21.

The Kalidas Parishad was removed as organisers by Recommendatory Committee in the state capital recently.

Padma Bhusana Late Pt Surya Narayan Vyas, who had constituted Kalidasa Parishad with the objective of taking literature of 'Mahakavi Kalidas' to people, had started the Samaroh through the Kalidas Parishad.
