Intl Education Conference in MP

Bhopal, Oct 7 (UNI) As many as 550 children between ages 16 and 18 years and studying in 60 schools of 20 countries would exchange views at a six-day Round Square International Education Conference, on the subject Vasudeva Kutumbakam, to get underway at Indore on October 18.

''Fifty of the participants will be from India. A Round Square general body meeting, also on the cards during the event, will discuss several issues and elect new members,'' Daly College Principal Sumer Singh told reporters here today. The event would be formally inaugurated on October 19 by Round Square President King Constantine II of the Hellenes (Greece).

Planning Commission Deputy Chairman Montek Singh Ahluwalia would deliver the keynote address and inaugurate the Dhirubhai Ambani Auditorium at the Reliance Group's Neeta Mukesh Ambani Complex.

Jodhpur's former king Maharaja Gaj Singh, Jaipur's Princess Diya, Kota's Raja Brijraj Singh, Indore's Maharani Usha Rani, Prince Richard Holkar, former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijay Singh, MP Jyotiraditya Scindia and Germany's Prince Niko Becker are expected to take part.
