Congress stakes claim to form next government in Karnataka
Bangalore, Oct 7 (UNI) The Congress today staked claim to form the next government in Karnataka, in a sudden political development, after BJP withdrew support to the 20-month-old Kumaraswamy ministry.
CLP Secretary Ramesh Kumar told newspersons that the Congress had asked Governor Rameshwar Thakur to allow the party to form the government.
Mr Kumar earlier handed the communication from the Party seeking permission to be allowed to form the government to Mr Thakur.
