AICC General Secretary Prithviraj Chavan arrives in the city

Bangalore, Oct 7 (UNI) With Congress staking its claim to form the next government in Karnataka after the collapse of the H D Kumaraswamy government, AICC General Secretary Prithviraj Chavan arrived in the city tonight to take stock of the political situation.

Speaking to media persons he said he had come study the political situation and he would let know the Congress' stand after eliciting opinion and views by party leaders and legislators, tomorrow.

However he maintained that had no specific briefing from the party high command on the formation of the next government in Karnataka.
