Balagangadhar Swamijee to flag-off Dasara festival

Mysore, Oct 6 (UNI) Balagangadhar Swamijee of Adichunchanagiri will inagurate this year's ten-day Dasara festival which culminate with the gala 'Jamboo Sawari' and grand procession.

Deputy Commissioner, Mysore district Channappa Gowda, in a statement issued here today has informed that the Dasara celebrations was originally scheduled to be flagged off by Sidhaganga seer, 100-year-old Shivakumar Seer on November 11.

He said that the Sidhaganga Swamiji, in a communication to the district administration have expressed his inability to participate in the event due to health problem.
