Walkathon organised on World Arthritis Day

Mumbai, Oct 4 (UNI) To mark the World Arthritis Day, Mumbai based Dignity Foundation will organize a walkathon at Bandra Sea Link, off Bandra Reclamation, on October 14.

Almost 1000 people from all walks of society including arthritis patients are expected to participate in the event, a press release here said.

Arthritis refers to a group of over 100 different conditions. It is common after the age of 50, but can affect younger people as well. The cause could either be genetic or a weak immune system, the release said.
