Bharti Airtel in the top 10

New Delhi, Oct 04, 2007: India"s largest cellular provider, Bharti Airtel has announced that its subscriber base has crossed the 50 million mark.

Of the total, some 48 million were wireless customers, with the remainder using fixed line and broadband services. With this the company has simultaneously added two feathers to its cap, first it has become the first Indian telecom company to join the world"s top ten operators.
