Two held with fake currency in W Champaran

Betiah, Oct 4 (UNI) Police busted two members of a gang involved in the circulation of fake Indian currency from Nepal with Rs 1,42,500 last night in their possession.

Superintendent of Police Bachchu Singh Meena here today said acting on a tip off, local police had raided a site near ITI colony in Betiah city and nabbed Sudesh Kumar and Munna with Rs 1,42,500 fake notes.

The arrested criminals were being interrogated to nab the others involved in the racket, Mr Meena said.
