Truck carrying plastic material worth Rs 4,75,000 robbed

Anand, Gujarat, Oct 4 (UNI) A truck carrying plastic granules, used for making medicines, was robbed at Samarkha Chowkdi.

The Single Road Carrier Transport Company truck, being driven by Pratapsinh Rajput, had left Ahmedabad on October 2 for Ankleshwar with the plastic granules material worth Rs 16.28 lakh packed in 400 bags.

According to Rajput, he stopped at Samarkha Chowkdi, near Anand, for refreshments at 2100 hrs. Later, when the material was downloaded at Ankleshwar, 114 bags worth Rs 4,75,000 were missing from the truck.
