Tata Motors launches Safari Dicor 2.2

New Delhi, Oct 4: Tata Motors today launched the new diesel Safari Dicor 2.2 Variable Turbine Technology (VTT) with prices starting at Rs 7.33 lakhs.

The new generatioon 2.2 VTT Dicor engine is a 16-valve Dual Over Head Camshaft (DOHC) engine, operated by a 32-bit electronic control unit and is equipped with a specially designed turbo charger incorporating VTT.

The VTT engine raises the maximum power and torque ratings to 140 PS (at 3,000 rpm) and 320 Nm (at 2,200 rpm).

The 2.2 VTT range is available in a two-tone beige interior, with stylish new day and night instrument panel and tubeless tyres. Two new colours--cycus grey and mountain green have been introduced.
