Quake rocks parts of Himachal Pradesh
Shimla, Oct 4 (UNI) An earthquake, measuring 3.8 on the Richter scale, shook several areas of Chamba and Kangra districts of Himachal Pradesh early today, Seismological Department sources said.
The tremors were felt at several places in twin districts and lasted about six seconds, forcing people to flee from their homes into open places at 1044 hrs, the sources said.
However,
there
was
no
immediate
report
of
any
loss
of
life
or
property
due
to
the
quake,
official
sources
told
