Police lauds honesty of two youth, assures reward

Puducherry, Oct 4(UNI) Senior Superintendent of Police Chaya Sharma today lauded the honesty of two youths, who handed over Rs one lakh found lying on the road to the police department.

The youths Subramaniyan of Villianur and Paranthaman of Arumparthapuram, were riding on a motorcycle, when they saw a bag containing money and some documents on the road near the petrol pump.

Ms Sharma, after receiving the bag from the youths said the money would be handed over to its owner and the duo would be rewarded.
