PMK stages demonstration on Sethu Project

Madurai, Oct 4 (UNI) Over 100 cadres of the Pataali Makkal Katchi (PMK) staged a slogan-shouting demonstration, demanding speedy implementation of the Sethusamudram Shipping Channel Project near Head Post Office at Thallakulam here, this evening.

Led by party State Deputy General Secretary Elanchezhian, the agitators also demanded the immediate arrest of BJP leader Ram Vilas Vedanti for his alleged 'fatwa' against Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi recently for his critical remarks against Lord Ram.
