Bangalore, Oct 4 (UNI) Following is the summary of observations recorded in weather office here at 0830 hrs today.
Monsoon was weak over Interior Karnataka.
Rainfall occurred at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and at isolated places over Interior Karnataka.
Chief rainfall amounts (cm) Udupi 5, Subramanya, Ankola, HD Kote 4 each, Harapanahalli 3, Karwar, K R Nagara 2 each, Shirali, Mundagod 1 each.
Maximum temperatures rose at many places over South Interior Karnataka, at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and changed little over North Interior Karnataka. They were above normal at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka and remained normal over South Interior Karnataka.
Minimum temperatures changed little over the State. They were above normal at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and remained normal over Coastal Karnataka&North Interior Karnataka.
Gulbarga recorded highest maximum temperature of 33.6 degree celsius and Mysore recorded lowest minimum temperature of 18 degree celsius over the State.
Forecast valid until Saturday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at isolated places over the State.
Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at isolated places over all the districts of the State.
Forecast for Bangalore city: Partly cloudy. A spell of rain/thundershowers likely towards evening/night. Maximum and minimum temperatures would be around 30 and 20 degree celsius respectively.
