'India Knit Fair' from October 17 in Tirupur

Tirupur, Oct 4 (UNI) The Tirupur Exporters Association (TEA) and Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC) will organise the 25th edition of 'India Knit Fair' here from October 17 to 19.

India Knit Fair Association Chairman A Sakthivel told newspersons that a symposium on knitwear exports would be held on October 16, prior to the Fair, for the exporters and buyers to learn more about the market needs.

Mr Sakthivel said the symposium would be inaugurated by Union Minister of State for Textiles E V K S Elangovan and the Fair would be inaugurated by Union Commerce and Industries Secretary Gopal K Pillai on October 17.
