HC notice to secondary education minister

Allahabad, Oct 4 (UNI) Allahabad High Court has issued notice to Uttar Pradesh secondary education minister Thakur Jaiveer Singh on a writ petition.

The petitioner's proposal to open a girls school under Sevit Vikas Khand Yojna at Ramnagar block, Chitrakoot had been passed by the state government.

However, the government earlier could not release funds for the school due to the state assembly poll.

Meanwhile, the government again invited bids for the opening the school, which was challenged by the petitioner.

Justice D P Singh has restrained the respondents from taking any final decision on the issue.
