Gold ornaments worth Rs 18,25,730 looted

Mumbai, Oct 4 (UNI) A bag consisting gold ornaments worth Rs 18,25,730 was looted by unidentified persons at Zaveri Bazar in south Mumbai.

According to police, Mukesh Jayantilal Chavan (22) was on his way to deliver the gold ornaments to Sonana Jewellers at Andheri here yesterday when the robbers snatched his bag and fled from the scene.

Police has registered a case robbery and further investigations are on.
