DCB opens new branch in Chennai

Chennai, Oct 4 (UNI) As part of its aggressive retail growth strategy, the private sector Development Credit Bank (DCB) today inaugurated its second branch in the city.

The new branch was inaugurated by DCB Managing Director and CEO Goutam Vir along with Consumer Banking Group Head Praveen Kutty.

Later, addressing a press conference here, Mr Vir said the branch, apart from offering various products and services to traders, would also offer facilities like trade finance and working capital finance.

''The branch has been designed to provide all the amenities of a model DCB branch, in line with the bank's vision of becoming the gold standard in customer service, where the customers are invited to feel the difference,'' he said.

The bank intended to drive growth vigorously and achieve a critical mass, which would allow it to play a significant role in its chosen strategy, he added.
