Guwahati, Oct 3 (UNI) ULFA cadre Purabi Neog alais Bonti Lahon, wife of ULFA 'commander' Prabal Neog, was convicted in a 2004 extortion case by Dibrugarh Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Robin Phukan today.

Purabi was arrested along with her husband Prabal Neog, 'commander' of the ULFA's dreaded '28th battalion', and their two-year-old son from Tezpur on September 17.
