VK Jain assumes addl charge as CMD of NMDC

Hyderabad, Oct 3 (UNI) Mr V K Jain, Director (Production), has assumed additional charge as Chairman-cum-Managing Director of National Mineral Development Corporation Ltd (NMDC) with effect from October one, due to superannuation of the incumbent, B Ramesh Kumar.

A graduate in Mining Engineering from the Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad, Mr Jain joined NMDC as Executive Trainee and had held several important positions, including that of a Managing Director of the Wholly Owned Subsidiary of NMDC for exploration of gold in Madagascar and East African countries, a release here said today.
