Parents of woman lodge case for dowry harrassment after suicide

New Delhi, Oct 3 (UNI) The parents of a woman, who committed suicide at Gandhi Nagar in East Delhi, have filed a case against her in-laws alleging harrassment of their daughter for dowry.

Twenty-eight-year Vandana Jain, living with her in-laws at gandhi Nagar, had committed suicide by hanging herself from an iron pole in the house.

However, Vandana's parents filed a case against her in laws alleging that she was harrassed for dowry. Accordingly, a case has been registered gainst the in laws under sections 302 and 498 of ther IPC, police said.
