Kadapa to be promoted as tourist destination
Hyderabad, Oct 3 (UNI) Kadapa, the native district of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, would be promoted as a tourist attraction and pilgrimage centre.
Massive development works have been planned for the overall development of the district.
Reviewing the development programmes taken up in Kadapa district with the officials concerned here, Dr Reddy asked the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) to speed up works taken up at all famous temples and directed the Tourism department to complete projects in the district at the earliest.
He suggested that the Health department go in for outsourcing and fill vacancies in the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences in Kadapa, an official release here said.
