Bhatinda Branch Canal to remain closed for 15 days

Chandigarh, Oct 3 (UNI) Bhatinda Branch Canal will remain closed from October 6 to October 20 for 15 days.

A spokesman of the Punjab Irrigation Department said that Bhatinda Branch will be closed for finishing the incomplete works.

The state of crops had been given due regard while closing the above canal, spokesman added.
