4 killed as bike hits truck in Gadchiroli

Nagpur, Oct 3 (UNI) Four persons were killed on the spot when the motorcycle they were riding hit a truck in Gadchiroli district in Vidarbha region of Maharashtra today.

According to the police, the motorcycle went out of control and hit the empty truck head-on while the riders were trying to negotiate a patch of road where work was in progress in Chamorshi tehsil of the district this afternoon.

The identity of the deceased has not been established yet, police said.

All the four were riding together on a brand new bike that did not have a permanent registration number, the police added.
