Strengthening party in J'khand is my priority: Maken
Ranchi, Oct 1 (UNI) Congress Working Committee (CWC) member Ajay Maken today said strengthening the party in the state will be his priority.
Mr Maken, who is in charge of party's affairs in Jharkhand, said he was appointed by the party high command to give a new strength to the party and would apprise UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi of the matter.
He also urged the party workers here to share their views and thoughts on strengthening the party. He also asked the party workers to brief him on whether the UPA-backed Madhu Koda government was working according to expectations or not.
The CWC member also enquired from the party workers on corruption and condition of welfare schemes in the state.
Earlier, Congress Legislatvie Party leader in the state Assembly Manoj Yadav also addressed the meeting.
