Multi-media potrayal of Bhagat Singh at Kotla Feroze Shah
New Delhi, Oct 1 (UNI) With voices of legendary Manoj Kumar, Om Puri, Jimmi Shergill, Kulbhushan Kharbanda and others, 'Gatha Bhagat Singh Ki' a historical portrayal of the heroic life of Bhagat Singh and his colleagues, being presented since Friday at Kotla Feroze Shah here, has turned out to be a big draw.
The multi-media show that creates the charged atmosphere of the times using sound and light, properties and costumes will be on display till October 4.
The laser displays and projections based on historical film footage make it an experience one will cherish for years to come.
An ensemble of over 100 artistes bring alive the life history of this great martyr in the backdrop of the freedom struggle.
The sound track of the show was recorded at Baba Studio, Mumbai, says Mr Rawel Singh, secretary of Punjabi Academy, Delhi which organised the presentation in association with the Art and Culture Department of the Delhi Government and Union Ministry of Culture.
The show also carries the voices of Rama Vij, Jatindret Bhardwaj and Ravi Jhankal.
Patriotic songs have been sung by Kailash Kheer, Roop Kumar Rathore, Arvinder Singh and Sarvarjeet Kaur and the music has been composed by Mahendra Kumar Babloo.
The script and dialogue of the 75-minute show has been done by Amrik Gill. And, the show has been directed by Lokendra Trivedi.
