Gujjar youth murdered by relatives over land dispute in Jammu

Jammu, Oct 1 (UNI) A Gujjar youth was allegedly murdered by his close relatives, including his uncle, in Gajansoo area, about 20 kms from here, in Jammu and Kashmir, police today said.

The deceased, identified as Ayub Khan, 25, was waylaid by his relatives, Yousaf Ali (uncle), his wives Rajai Bibi and Anayat Bibi; daughters Sawika and Gulzar; and son-in-law Ghulam Haider in the fields at Karloop village last evening, police said.

''They had attacked Ayub Khan with lathis, axe and stones and killed him on the spot,'' police said.

All the assailants except Ghulam Haider has been arrested, police said.
